New Collections: Expressive Surfaces for the Modern Space

By: Nemo Tile + Stone

This Winter season, Nemo Tile + Stone introduces three distinct new collections: Aurore, Dintorni, and Solis.

Each exploring a different facet of surface design. From hand-drawn geometry and dreamlike patterning to sculptural texture and light play, these new additions reflect the artistry and versatility that define Nemo’s approach to material innovation.

Aurore - Designed by Vincent Van Duysen

Porcelain Stoneware | 8”x8” | Matte Finish

Belgian architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen reimagines the iconic 8”x8” format through a nostalgic lens in Aurore. A collection inspired by the fleeting chalk drawings of childhood. Subtle grids and tonal shifts evoke that same sense of impermanence and wonder, transforming walls and floors into thoughtful, tactile compositions.

Available in four soft hues — Light Blue, Light Green, Light Grey, and Charcoal - and three design variations (Solid, Grid S, and Grid L), Aurore offers an intuitive approach to pattern and tone. The result is a surface that feels personal, textural, and quietly architectural.

“With Aurore, I hope to echo this slightly nostalgic sentiment. The background color of the tiles seems to shift and fade over time, while delicate, refined lines overlay them with sensitivity.”

Dintorni - Designed by Inga Sempé

Porcelain Stoneware | 8”x8” | Matte Finish

Playful yet precise, Dintorni by French designer Inga Sempé is a study in contrast and creativity. Rooted in ceramic tradition, the collection reinterprets classic geometric motifs while introducing a whimsical narrative element that’s unmistakably Sempé.

Dintorni unfolds in two families - Patterns and Isola - along with two versatile complements: Solid Colors and Raccordo. Scala, Bandiere, and Dama feature geometric repetition and optical rhythm. Isola ventures into dreamlike storytelling, with ten illustrated tiles that transport viewers to another world a visual “escape” rendered in ceramic form.

Available in 15 color options, the series offers infinite potential for composition, blending precision with imagination.

“Isola is dream, imagination, and freedom. It is what lies beyond the place you would go to if you could escape.”

Solis - Ceramic Wall Tile

4”x16” | Glossy & Matte | Ribbed & Fluted Textures

Sculptural, dimensional, and endlessly versatile - Solis transforms the traditional subway tile into a bold design statement. The collection’s ribbed and fluted textures interact beautifully with light, creating shifting patterns of shadow and reflection that bring walls to life.

Offered in seven moody tones - White, Bone, Mustard, Clay, Rust, Olive, and Blue — and in both matte and glossy finishes, Solis merges vintage inspiration with contemporary polish. Its elongated 4”x16” form lends itself to both residential and commercial spaces, adding warmth, sophistication, and architectural depth to every surface.

With a nod to mid-century design and a distinctly modern palette, Solis transforms ordinary walls into moments of visual drama.

A Study in Surface Emotion

Together, Aurore, Dintorni, and Solis embody a balance between artistry and architecture - surfaces that invite touch, evoke memory, and inspire creativity. Whether through Van Duysen’s quiet nostalgia, Sempé’s surreal storytelling, or the sculptural play of Solis, these collections exemplify Nemo Tile + Stone’s commitment to design innovation.
